Terranigma

 

Terranigma is one of the best RPGs of all time, and I mean all RPGs, not just SNES ones. It's part of the Illusion of... Saga, the third part to state it. Just one word about this game: Awesome!. This game can be replayed again and again. It's fast, action paced, has some calm moments too and a great, deep, and quite livenear story. It also gives you one or two history lessons, want it or not^^. A must play when it came out, and if you didn't play it yet, get a rom or a legall copy of it, if you can get your hands on one. I love this game

Story/Plot:

The story is great. One of the better made one for a SNES RPG. It's about creating the world, putting the nature in balance again and later you have to deal with humans. Your character, Ark, comes from hell and later on earth he finds out he has been used by his master down there. You get almost killed after you did your purpose, rescued by your friends that you made in the light world, or better said earth, and get reborn as the light Arc, born from the top, not hell^^. Then you fight the guy that wanted to kill you and go one step closer, you fight your creator the devil himself, there called Ragnara ( a cool name i must say). It's a game you can play again and again, quite many minigames for a SNES game.

Graphics:

Can't be done much better on the SNES, but sometimes it bugs that the only way of doing actions is walking without moving forward, kinda lame but well, you cant have everything. All in all its good, the spearefects all over the game are great, the spells too and the places look cool.

Sound:

Oh my god. I love the soundtrack from this game, it's pure amazing. The theme music, once you hear it you never forget it, I swear. Also the music from the worldmap is something that makes you stay on the world map for longer^^. It's a great soundtrack, and it fits perfect in every place you are. From funny to serious and heavy tracks, it has all. A masterpiece.
