Megaman Zero

 

In my opinion, the megaman zero series, is the best rockman/megaman series there is. The characters are cool designed, the plot is ok, kinda apocalyptic, and the gameplay is fun. And well, the main char is the one that we all love, Zero, not this damn pazifist X. A great game series, too bad there are only 4 parts of it.The gameplay is kinda hard for newbies, especialy the bosses, but once you play with tactic more than just hack and slay, you can win it.

Story/Plot:

It's an action game, so you can't expect a deep and long story, but it's a good one after all I think. Zero gets revived by the rebells, helps them, fights the enemy Neo Arcadia which is led by a copy of X. In the second part a new comander of the rebels appears, who discovers that a source of power from the war that made the world how it is now, is the so called Dark Elf, which you start to search and later its your enemy. In part 3, its Dark Elf and Omega, a war maschine who has Zero's real body, but Zero realized that it's not the body that counts, but whats inside. In the fourth, you fight against Neo Arcadia to stop the space colony Ragnarok that wants to destroy all green on the world, and Zero sacrifices himself like he did in X-5. You don't know if he died, but a part 5 would be out already if he would be alive i think^^.

Graphics:

Similar to the SNES Megaman games. Well, it's a GBA, you cant expect a Square Enix masterpiece for your eye. But it's ok, its fun to play and good animated. The atacks don't look too repetive, and very unique. All in all great made on the GBA.

Sound:

We all love the soundtracks from the megaman games, this series is no exception. The music fits in every stage, its fun to play in some stages especially cuz of the music that makes you play more tactial or sometimes more reckless. It's very catchy, you will like to play some stages again just to listen to the sounds.
