Kingdom Hearts 2

 

A second part, a worthy second part. It's as awesome as part one, well, it's much much better. Sora is cooler, the game is a bit matured, its perfect. Well, you still have to open yourself for the disney square mix. Me as a disney hater loves the game, so let's say you get used to it^^. It's the perfect action adventure rpg hack and slay whatever. It's great.

Story/Plot:

The story... well, it continues after the GBA game Chains of Memories, but it's not necesary to play to understand the main plot, even if it helps much to have a fluid gameplay. Sora wakes up, learns about his true destiny and travels trough the worlds again, still searching for Riku and Kayri. You meet some guys from an Organisation, learn that there are more evil beings than just the Heartless and that there is a counterpart to Sora that was born out of Sora, while he was a Heartless. It's confusing cause the first 2 or 3 hours of gameplay are not played as Sora, but as his counterpart. Those 3 hours remind a tutorial, but with a story that reminds you of a summer break kids movie. The story becomes more intense the closer you reach your goal, and in the end, maybe they find Kingdom Hearts?!

Graphics:

Well, it's an action game, but the graphics are great. It's made by Square, so nothing else to expect. The animations are great, even if I must say that the magic, the higher the level of it gets, doesn't change that much in its appearance, the only negative point.

Sound:

A masterpiece in sound. It fits in every world you enter. The travel music in the space is more action paced than last time, and the boss themes are way cooler too. They didn't do any bad tracks, or at least I don't know of any yet.
